Hey Guys,
I got bored with the default look of my blog, so I decided to install the Blix theme. I really like the look and feel of this theme, but I think I’m going to change a couple of things so that they fit my site a little better. The first change I think will be to add a nice header image, just have to take my camera and take a nice picture. Then we’ll go from there.
I also wanted to wish everyone a Happy Canada Day, It’s hard to believe that it’s already July 1st, but that’s what happens when you are enjoying yourself as much as me. Anyway keep your eyes open for some changes to this theme.

Well I just got back from one of the most enjoyable weekends I’ve had in a long time. I decided to take my girlfriend Emily away to Niagra Falls for the weekend as a way to get away and have some fun. It has been a very long time since we have done something like this, and I have to say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time.
We left early Saturday morning and we arrived in Niagra around 9:30am Saturday morning, we spent the day doing the tourist thing like the Maide of the Mist, Ripleys, Herseys etc … We checked into our hotel aroudn 3:00pm, we were staying at the Oaks Hotel with a fallsview room on the 5th floor. This hotel was absolutely amazing and we were blessed with a picture view of the falls like this one
After checking into our hotel we relaxed and watched some TV getting ourselfs ready for an amazing night on the town. I took Emily for dinner at the Fallsview Keg with another breath taking view of the Falls. We spent some time at the Fallsview Casino where my babe won $100 dollars. We went to a couple different bars/clubs had a lot of drinks and eventually stumbled back to our rooms.
All I have to say is that this weekend was absolutely amazing I loved sharing so many new moments with the one that I love, and I surely loved just spending time with the most important person in my life.
Thanks babe for the great weekend, I can’t wait to do it again

To me this story reads like a movie script. It is stories like this that make me question the validity of the market system, and the regulatory bodies that govern its operations in America.
It is apparent that many investors in this situation were duped by a somewhat intelligent man, but come on if I were a supplier I don’t think I’d be jumping on board accepting stock in a company instead of cash due to their inability to pay their bills. This reminds me of the Simpson’s episode where Bart works for an online movie company and they issue stock like its toilet paper.

Well my grandfather has been diagnosed with Cancer of the Lungs and Liver. His health has not been that great the last year, we almost lost him last winter so this is difinetly not unexpected but none the less it is still dissapointing. So everyone send out a little prayer, for the people who are supporting him, my mother and her sisters, and for him as well.

Well last night I went to go see Oasis and Arctic Monkeys for the second time this year, well technically. I saw them last summer at the Molson Ampithearter, this time it was at the ACC. The Arctic Monkeys were absolutely amazing they are definetly worth all the praise they receive. They rocked hard and fast, but unfortunately they didn’t have enough songs to really fill up a full set. They only wound up playing for about 20-25 mins which kind of sucked, but I those 20 mins were absolutely amazing.
As for Oasis they were amazing, not as good as the summer, because of the accoustics in the ACC but still absolutely amazing. They are just one of those bands that you can feel through the entire crowd. Everyone who is there, is there because they truely love the band, and you can definetly feel it. They played mostly the same songs as in the summer, and ended the whole thing off with the Beatles My Generation which was kind of fun.
Next concert up on the blocks is The Strokes May 6th, and I cannot wait
