Well apparently I’ve been wasting all my time in Computer Sciecne, I should have been spending more time learning about tubes since that’s what the internet is.

I find it really scary to know that the people responsible for managing the future something as as the Internet can be so completely naive as to how it opperates. The even scarier part is I’m sure this guy is not the only one who is completely clueless to what the Internet represents for the future of many corporations.
I get this feeling like there are a lot of people at the top of corporations who really have no idea the threat that the Internet posses to their business, especially when it comes to any corporation that is in any way related to media, whether it be printed, recorded, or filmed.
What do you guys think, is there really hope for a lot of these corporations or are they too late to stop the trends that we are currently seeing emerging?

I was opening up my almost brand new Dell 600m laptop, to replace a broken PCMCIA slot riser on the motherboard. As soon as I got the keyboard off, I noticed a small cable running from the keyboard connection underneath a piece of metal protecting the motherboard.
I really wonder if this is in my own Dell 6000d. I still can’t believe that Dell would be doing something like this, however I am not surprised that the Department of Homeland Security is helping to protect them. I wonder how many PC manufacturers are using this type of hardware keylogger as well. Perhaps this is something that is part of the US Governments war on terror, if they have the right to tap phone calls now without any just cause, could they also have the right to monitor all or most of what you are doing on the computer as well?
Makes you really wonder what big brother is up to.

This PC system is cooled by a turbocharger @ 3500rpm!. Now I wonder what would happen if we took a GT40R and strapped it to that sucker?
This honestly has to be one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard of, could you imagine the amount of noise that would come not only from the turbo, but the drive as well? I guess on the plus side you could find a way to rig up a blow off valve for kicks and giggles.

Ex-Enron chief Kenneth Lay dead of heart attack. He won’t be serving that jail time from his convictions.
How interesting that just before he is set to be sentenced he mysteriously has a fatal heart attack, his wife is out of the country, and his will was just recently changed so that his body will be cremated. Add to this the fact that the person who pronouced his death was his own personal doctor not a hospital, and that there will be no autopsy to confirm the cause of his death, and you might have reason to believe that this death is fake.
Although I don’t usually subscribe to these types of “theories” I do see that there is strong proof that his death could indeed be a fake, I guess we’ll never really know. I guess in the end whether he’s dead now or dead later he’ll still have to face the big man upstairs who might have a thing or two to say about his actions here on earth.

Hey Guys,
I got bored with the default look of my blog, so I decided to install the Blix theme. I really like the look and feel of this theme, but I think I’m going to change a couple of things so that they fit my site a little better. The first change I think will be to add a nice header image, just have to take my camera and take a nice picture. Then we’ll go from there.
I also wanted to wish everyone a Happy Canada Day, It’s hard to believe that it’s already July 1st, but that’s what happens when you are enjoying yourself as much as me. Anyway keep your eyes open for some changes to this theme.
