Ctech Logo Designs

December 6th, 2005

Well I’ve decided it’s time for Ctech to get a proper logo, and knowing how amazing I am at using photoshop and illustrator I thought I’d do it myself. On a sidenote, this is a complete exageration, I’m actually awful with both and instead I’m just super cheap. Instead of paying a professional to create something for me I’d rather take twice as long, but get it for free. Not to mention the idea of having someone who knows nothing about your company designing the most personal aspect of your companies image does not sit very well with me.

Well without further a due here are the designs so far there are two:

To explain them a little bit so you get an understanding the first one incorporates a symbol that I came up with while waiting for a class. The symbol is actually a backward block letter C and a T merged together. I thought this was kind of a cool idea since it actually has to do with the name of the company, and it looks cool.

The second design is something just off the cuff. The box holds really no significance other then something visually appealing.

So far I personally like number 1 better, but I have not finalized the design on the CT combo. I’m still grappling with some ideas about the outline and such.

Anyways I guess it’s time to go back and continue studying for my dreaded exams.

Design #1 wins hands down! It’s creative but still easy on the eyes. #2 is neat but it’s a bit busy and wouldn’t fit as easily on a biz. card. So are you going to start a little graphic design biz on the side?

Graphic design me? haha no, if there’s one thing I dislike it’s doing that kind of stuff, I always feel like there’s something to change to make it better. I usually wind up messing a perfect design up over complicating it.

Thanks though, I’m glad you enjoy it. I’ll show you the business card design next time you stop by, I think it’s pretty neat
